I am clearly not a movie buff. I knew exactly one (19) and that was it. I guessed (incorrectly) at a bunch of others. Back to the drawing board for me.

The only thing I can comment about tonight's Oscars is that the parking lot across the street from my shop right now is starting to fill up quickly as the entire lot has been reserved for the staff of Wolfgang Puck. They are being shuttled to the Oscars about a mile away from here.
That leaves no parking for my customers today. This is not good for us.

I don't care about the Oscars in general. I will probably catch just the last half hour of it when I get home tonight.

I'm the opposite - I'll be watching E! Live from the Red Carpet shortly and tomorrow I'll watch all the fashion recap shows.

Although sometimes the Oscars have very dull, off years, this year I think it will be a good show.

It did, roadfix. ......Best Pic plus 7 additional.

We ended up watching Slumdog again right after the awards just to see if it really was that good. It was. My wife thought I was crazy for putting this movie on for the third time....
