Supraventricular Tachycardia

Anyone have this or know someone that does?
Something that I have been going through sounds just like the description of this.

What are your symptoms - and what makes you think it's SVT/PSVT? Are your symptoms persistent or episodic? If just episodes - are they frequent, how long do they last, do they seem to appear after periods of physical exertion or emotional stress?

Have you seen your doctor?

I just looked it up, I think you should see a doctor right now to be correctly diagnosed, even though I do watch a lot of medical shows I wouldn't rely on me for correct diagnosis!! LOL

like michael said, have you seen your doctor? please do, tex, if you haven't. you don't want to risk heart problems. take it from someone who shouldn't know, but does.

Kids...do go to the Dr. and find out. It's not an old person's thing either. I was diagnosed with many different heart arrythemias in my early 30's and was on heart meds for 10 years. I do believe it was a combination of stress...young children I was raising myself...working two jobs...and lots and lots of coffee! I still do the coffee thing today...but no more meds. (It must have been the kids...lol). Still..it's nothing to mess around with. If your heart gets too much out of rythmn it can just stop. Check it out! Please?

Knowing you are having some symptoms and NOT getting them checked out is going to make you MORE stressed out!! Go see your doc! It can be something as simple as too much coffee and stress - or it could be something that can be controlled pretty easily with some medication. But you NEED to get it taken care of; not only for you, but for your family!
