Thank you very much, BdF. We had a marvelous get together at our house. 12 family members showed up, and I'm pleased to report that my first ever turkey dinner came out relatively decent. On top of that, the weather was beautiful.

All in all, a great day.

i enjoyed being with all the family , 16 in all. however , my granddaughter's other grandma did or supervised the cooking. apparently she doesn't season anything. so most was very bland . oh well, since i don't want to do the dinner anymore, guess it will have to do.

We aren't celebrating Thanksgiving until Sunday (Mark and I). His family from WA went to Oregon for the holiday. My whole family is in NY, and I didn't get to see them. Thank you for the nice post, though.
