Well, I bought a 20lb bag of flour last week for $13 and the one I bought in December only cost me $5. Trust me...I noticed THAT jump!
 
Mayhaps we will stop paying 'farmers' to NOT grow food.?

My thoughts EXACTLY!

Also, I know plenty of farmers in Idaho who can grow sugar beets really well, but are pretty much losing their farms because no one wants sugar beets. Sugar beets can be used for ethanol-based fuels. Why don't we use them instead of our main food-staple supply?
