The Turkey Shot out of the Oven

I recited this poem for a 4-H Talent show. Thought someone might enjoy it.

The Turkey Shot Out of the Oven

[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The turkey shot out of the oven[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and rocketed into the air,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]it knocked every plate off the table[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and partly demolished a chair.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]It ricocheted into a corner[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and burst with a deafening boom,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]then splattered all over the kitchen[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]completely obscuring the room.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]It stuck to the walls and the window[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]it totally coated the floor,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]there was turkey attached to the ceiling,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]where there'd never been turkey before.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]It blanketed every appliance,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]It smeared every saucer and bowl,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]there wasn't a way I could stop it,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]that turkey was out of control.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure,[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]and thought with chagrin as I mopped[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]that I'd never again stuff a turkey[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]with popcorn that had not been popped!!!!
[/FONT]

Yes we thought about having our own accounts but we thought it would be fun to share an account. I don't know if anyone else shares though.
