If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell STOP or STAY BACK !
In Canada, yell at the top of your lungs, as loud as you can and as often as you can "Call 911". Anyone in earshot will know you are in trouble. it saved me. Thanks for posting.
