Shannon, sounds like the yard I have to mow. I'm not sure how much square footage we have, but, it takes over three hours to mow, and that's with a self-propelled push mower. I'd love to have one of those ZTR-type mowers. I just can't afford it, or transport it out here, as I don't have a truck.

yeah, our lot is 75 wide by 350 long. It was the main selling point of the house because we spend SO much time outside. Over the next few years a lot of it will be flowerbeds, a MUCH bigger garden, strawberry patch, etc. It also takes us 3-4 hours to mow with a self-propel mower. I know it is great exercise, and my 11 yo loves to mow... so far LOL!!

We have 5 acres I was mowing with a self-propelled...
Gave up on 2 of them for ahwile!
I loved it but it took 3 days....
Got a tractor again a few weeks ago, got everything mowed including the ignored 2 acres (DH now decides he can mow by the way) and he broke a wheelie thing on it 2 days later!
Need an extra $50 to fix it.
Back to my pushmower, glad its been dry!
