Okay, not that I miss Mr. David Letterman so much, I think I will come up with some "Top 10 Lists" series, something that many people find it fun to fill in, also I think it is a great way to get to know each other in wider scape...

The first one I thought about...
"Top 10 List of things you like to do when you are not cooking or eating!!"

Okay to start... mine is

2. Playing with my hammy Napoleone
3. Playing and doing experiments with graphic softwares or sound editor on our comp.
4. Going to the gym
5. Reading (either books or on computer)
6. Listening to music
7. Learning more about IT (information technology), so I may be a little more helpful with Cristiano's business
8. Trying to improve my Italian
9. Following my fave sports, figure skating and motoGP in particular

Can they co-exist happily and safely?? I have a hammy, and if we get to move to a bigger flat (which MAY happen in the semi-near future) I would love to have a cat too but I also fear for the safety of Napoleone!! And even if he is safe in the cage, he may well get too stressed out if he see a cat hanging about constantly in the vicinity... How did you solve the problem??

Well my first 2 don't count because I love to cook for my family and then I love to sit down to a real meal with them both in the Kitchen Other then that lets see

Spending time with family and friends

Spending time with my Rats. (yes I did say rats they are so cute and cuddly. and clean

Gardening

Working on a art project

Reading and more Reading

Listening to Live Classical Music (good thing to I live with two professional Bassoon players)

Going to a good Movie or other show

Going to a street fair or festival

Hummmm I am not sure but think I need the first two after all LOL.

Spending time on the internet. I love it here at DC and I love to play games online.

And I guess Just living in a large diverse city where I can do something when ever I want even if its shop 24 hours a day.

Katt, I excluded these two things in my question upon my assumption that they would be on top /or among the top of the list with everyone in this forum anyway, without being asked... it is too obvious... we all love foods!!:ROFLMAO:

1. Hanging out w/the boy.
2. Hanging out with close family or friends
3. Playing with my cars; whether it be working on them or driving them
4. SHOPPING! (Although, I had to put myself on a leash, and I haven't been shopping in a few months)
5. Working out
6. Sleeping - If I ever get the chance

My life basically revolves around food, cars, and shopping...

I'm limited to 10, hmmm. Some are active and some are not. But, guessing it's more about passions/interests.

Movies, movies, movies - Old rather than new (a livelihood and hobby). Worked on a film library at home. Reading the trades, etc. keeping up with "industry" news.

Theatre - Prefer New York - Broadway and off.

Dancing

Music - Classic Rock

Ocean/Beach/Waterfalls - Love the water

Decorating or anything creative

Shopping - Clothes and for the home (fashion is a passion)

Exploring new restaurants - experiencing new cuisines

Collecting recipes - and thinking about how I would revise adapt to my tastes

Gravitating toward people with a sense of humor - making people laugh & ability to laugh at life

i just introduced the cats to patches one by one (really carefully- he was cupped in my hands and just barely peeking out) and they were fascinated by him at first. they stared at his cage constantly, but i wasn't worried about them getting into it cause i have an aquarium with a screen lid that slides into the frame, plus i got a heavy, coated wire mesh lid that folds in half to put over top of that, just in case.
he got out of his hamster ball awhile ago and we were frantic, but the cats didn't seem to think anything of it. now i tape the ball shut, just in case.
once in awhile our littlest cat will observe the hamster in his cage, and they'll lay on the cage now and again, but other than that, they don't pay him much mind.:)
patches is oblivious top the cats. it's cute.
i can let him run around on the floor and the cats just pass on by. 'course i'm right there with him.
