Yeah, to make the cleaning easier this is true, but I don't know... something tells me that you are not supposed to burn the cwap out of the bottom of a pressure cooker regularly...

One time I thought I had cornstarch and had powdered sugar (it has different names in different places, but picture the sugar that has about the same consistency). I was cooking a stir fry, yes, for company, and the sauce never thickened the way it should. Since I don't have the sweet tooth virtually everyone I know has, the resultant dish was a huge hit. The sauce wasn't thick, but there was a sweet-and-sour taste to it that everyone loved!
