So close, yet so far on a couple of my guesses! I got the ones in red (only one of those was a guess, but an educated one--I knew that "hippo" was for horse, so it made the most sense).

1. The Howdy Doody Show, as Clarabelle, the Clown
2. Hannibal

3. Santa Fe Trial
4. four--Rats! I was thinking it had five.
5. Mushroom
6. the height of a horse

7. 2 - 0--I had absolutely no idea, but I guessed 1- 0.
8. Willie Nelson
CRAP !!

Not too bad today, I'm lousy at sports questions.

1. The Howdy Doody Show, as Clarabelle, the Clown
2. Hannibal
3. Santa Fe Trial
4. four - I guessed 6
5. Mushroom
6. the height of a horse -
or the measure for a bikini bottom J/K
7. 2 - 0 - I thought 7-0
8. Willie Nelson
CRAP !!
The claim was that She was "Practically Unsinkable"
