Owls are UNABLE to move their eyes in the sockets !
Owls do have deceptively long flexible necks, which allows them to turn their heads 270 degrees in either direction horizontally and at least 90 degrees vertically.

I've lived with two Lone Ranger freaks...My Dad and Shrek. Dad does the whole intro to the radio show.

I used to watch the show, and I have seen the movie. I just didn't remember that part. Weird.

Me too. I watched every show as a kid, but didn't remember that part either, although it was what I first thought of.
