TRUTH !!
When Birdseye spent time as a fur trapper in the far North in the middle of winter, he observed the Eskimos freezing food at a rapid rate, and he found that the food, when thawed, tasted much fresher than food frozen in the spring or fall, when the freezing process took longer.
He returned to the USA and perfected the quick-freeze machine to accomplish the process at any time of the year.
This was the beginning of the Birdseye Frosted Foods Company that exists
today.
