Bogart would have been 29 when Gerber baby food was introduced in 1928.
His mother, Maude, was a well-known illustrator and did use Bogie as a model, but it wasn't for Gerber- it was for Mellin's baby food ads.
The model for the face on the original Gerber label was Ann Turner Cook, whose angelic face was sketched for the company when she was five months old.
