The name was always Pop-Tarts. But,
Post Cereals did release a similar product called Country Squares, not long after Pop-Tarts came out.
Introduced in 1964, they weren't frosted at first; Frosted Pop-Tarts were introduced in 1967.

Good to know it was a fictional character!

It was on a midnight's journey that that someone was inspired!

3. To which of the fifty must I travel to visit the ZIPPO lighter museum?
The key word was Zippo and I couldn't stop thinking BIC!

4. How many Oscar nominations did "The Color Purple" get ?
Were you referring to the original movie?
BONUS: How many Oscars did it WIN?

Was San Diego Padres the only club he played for?

If you were old enough to watch the commercial (3 yrs old), You graduated from high school this year!

Country Squares was a dumb name especially in the Sixties!

Have you been to the Zippo Museum? Thanks....two is good.

We did have a collector's display case at the library. The most interesting collection was the Pez collection and the Hot Wheels Car collection.

no, but my wife says her dad dragged her in there when she was a teenager.......
I DID see a half-hour show about it on the history channel.
