I did terribly, but I don't feel so bad now! Apparently Mel Torme was reincarnated as a frog. I got #1, 2, 7 (the real one!), 8, and T or C.

I thought #7 also, Buckytom.

#2, good nickname, but I didn't know it til I saw it.
#3, ok. But who was in the '60s? Vincent Price? What a difference!
And I give up. Why would we know #8? Is he famous?

Poo, poo, on me tonight.

Thanks, l.t.

Jake isn't as well-known as his dad, but he is also an actor.

Thanks, B.L.
After I saw your response, I goggled.
OMG! He looks like his dad, and has his father's physical
mouth. And I thought Gary's mouth was an XL set of false teeth!

BOY, I SURE SKEWED THIS ONE UP, DIDN'T I ??

That's what happens when I try to type and chew gum at the same time...............

BTW
answer- Tarzan
Question- Who calls his favorite elephant "Tantor".

Aren't y'all happy that I don't chew gum very often????

and BTW-
One of my daily e-mail players sent me this, concerning the "Frog" typo.....................

Torme's singing at New York's Copacabana led a local disc jockey, Fred Robbins, to give him the nickname "The Velvet Fog", thinking to honor his high tenor and smooth vocal style, but Tormé detested the nickname. (He self-deprecatingly referred to it as "this Velvet Frog voice.")
