trivia 8/18
DID YOU KNOW...
The maximum length of a mammal's life is generally related to its size. Thus, a man's lifespan should be somewhere between that of a goat and a horse, between 10 and 30 years. However, humans have developed ways to protect themselves from predators and disease, increasing their average lifespan to 74.7 years in the United States.

several studies have shown that lime-yellow is more effective than red in
attracting human attention and that, statistically, white and lime-yellow is
the safest color combination for fire and emergency vehicles, far safer than
the traditional red-and-white. however, fire-fighting custom still
influences fire engine color choice more than safety, thus most fire engines are still the traditional red or red and white.
