Ultimate recipe showdown

Anyone watching this? The winning recipes become meals at TGI Fridays. Had the Peruvian Herb chicken tonight. Not impressed... at all. I'm sure the original recipes done on the contest were exceptional but this kinda sucked. The herb mixture was ok. The chicken was dry, almost jerky dry. I was torn between the chicken and the steak plantain sandwich (forgot what it was called on the menu, chipotle steak sandwich or something like that). I asked the waitress and she said everyone LOVES the chicken. Oh well...

Has anyone tried any of the winners at Fridays? What did you think? Tonight is cake. Watching it right now.

Sorry, jen, can't comment about Friday's. Don't usually eat there, but Buck and I have been enjoying the competition on TV. The one thing I like is that the recipes are posted on the Food Network site, so we can make the dishes like the competitors did.
