We Spent the Most Wonderful Day with Middie!

This was such a great day! We got here late last night. Middie had the day off, so she, her son Billy, James, and I spent the day together. We talked a lot, spent a little time at a couple stores, had a great dinner at a neat little Italian restaurant, and we went out on a pier on Lake Erie. Middie is such a sweetie, just as I knew she would be, and we are in love with both her and Billy. Billy is a super smart, very well-mannered boy. We hated saying goodbye and definitely plan to get together again someday.

It was a great day. You and James are the nicest people I have ever met. I just really wish we had more time. 1 day just isn't enough. Wow you took alot of pictures ! lol. Billy really did enjoy himself and he really likes you both. Once again I am so glad we got to have this opportunity and we will get together again !

Well, this meeting was especially special to us because this is the one we had been planning for a long time. We have been wanting to meet middie for two or three years now.

No, a day isn't enough! Too bad you are working tomorrow! We are staying an extra day, so that we can do laundry and some make some antique shop stops. As Billy said, it's a nice little town. Wow, I just can't get over what a good time we had today!

Not only is Billy adorable, but that is one smart young man! I think James has a buddy for life!

I was referring to the mutual adoration for long haired rocker bands that I share with my friend Middie.

I just remembered something strange that happened at dinner tonight. I had my left hand in my lap. I heard what sounded like a small fork dropping, and I felt something hit my foot. I looked down, and my wedding ring and engagement ring were both on the floor! They had just fallen off of my hand! I wasn't playing with my rings (that I can remember anyway), and I haven't lost weight (I did lose about 10 pounds when I was in the hospital, but I'm sure I have gained that and more on our trip). The only time I have ever had my rings fall off before was when I was shaking my hand up and down when getting ready to test my blood glucose level. This was so weird!
