Watching 'A Christmas Story' love that show and am about to pick up a book.

Will bestir myself to make dinner in a while.

Decided to go very simply this year, and so far it feels very good.

No one coming over, have done all of that, and today it is to relax and have a great meal.

But right now I have to get back to that book.

Merry Christmas and peace to all.

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone as well. First time I've been able to come by in awhile so I had to make a visit and wish everyone well. I hope you all have a wonderful and joyous holiday!

Sue

Hi everyone,

Merry Christmas. DH and myself are up, waiting for the kids to get up (teenagers). I am getting ready to make some monkey bread (kids request), a pot of coffee and some fried country ham and biscuits. Yum

Merry Christmas Everyone! So far this morning I made coffee, said my prayers, read the bible, mixed the meat in my gravy, chopped tomatoes for bruschetta, and put breakfast in the oven. Just checked my email and thought I would pop in on DC before the kiddies wake up. Merry Christmas!

having a quiet 5 mins while my daughter gets some afternoon kip, and hoping these pain killers kick in as my arthritis is playing up badly today.
Then it`s off to the kitchen to serve up the Roast beast and other goodies :)
it almost smells good enough to eat! :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Went to 6:30 mass this morning and when I got home dh was vacuuming. YEAH!!! I was so glad, as I am still tired from last night. We had everyone here for supper and opening gifts. We had all of the little ones open their gifts first. What fun to see the joy on their little faces. When my grandaughter Emily (she's five) opened her gifts, would give each one a big hug.
My dh just left for his church service. The house seems so quite and empty after last night.
Wishing you all love and peace for our last week of 2006. JoAnn

I am getting the decorations put away! Tired of looking at them.
Talked to my oldest at 7am this morning while he opened his gifts from him, boy, I miss him so badly!! This is the first without him here and it's not easy! Everyone loved what they got, of course, LOL.

I got up at 7:30AM in Southern California and fed my dog Jolie. Then I tried on some outfits to decide what to wear to Sandy's Christmas Party.

I found the perfect one and then went through all my costume jewelry and found some real crystal earnings that match the pants and top exactly.

I am looking forward to going to Sandys because I always have a great time and have been going there for the last 4 years.
