What are your favorite comfort foods?

mine- macaroni & cheese!, shredded roast beef & gravy over mashed potatoes & pullman bread, grilled cheeses & soup, ham, cabbage, & potatoes pressure cooked, oatmeal & cream of wheat, chili over instant mashed potatoes, & mashed potatoes with pork chop gravy!

From my childhood it was Chicken Noodle soup with crackers. Now, I like any kind of meal as long as there is some sort of potato and bread served with it.

Any kind of authentic mexican food.
Homemade macaroni and cheese.
Tomato soup with crumbled crackers.
Grilled cheese sandwiches.
Milk with bread.
Chef salad.
French toast topped with butter and a sunny side-up egg. (No syrup)
Homemade chili mac.
Cottage cheese and peaches.
Corn flakes with milk.
Cream of wheat.
Oatmeal.

Chicken soup and ice cream when I'm sick. Otherwise, any kind of roasted meat with mashed potatoes and gravy. New England boiled dinner.
