This is driving me nuts, just what is that pictured in the Groupon ad? It looks like a cut away of a Snowball cake, but in the shape of a twinkie, with black sprinkles and tiny orange jello balls on top with an orange yellow and green filling:mellow: is it food?

Sushi it is. Those jello balls are roe. Probably salmon roe.

Reminds me of a funny story. Many years ago, I worked for an electronics company that was founded by Europeans. It was growing by leaps and bounds and got to the point where you didn't know half the people you saw very day.

The company president threw a cocktail party so we could all get to know each other. Good eats with a European influence.

One of the guys I carpooled with was a real down-to-earth type who often said, "If it doesn't MOO, I won't eat it.". On the way home we were discussing the event and he told us how he was really excited when he saw crackers and blackberry preserves on the food table! He loaded up a plate and started to chow down when he realized the "blackberry preserve" was actually caviar!
