I recently saw two movies that I enjoyed thoroughly. They are not time pass for sure since the subject matter is thought provoking and intense but with how expensive it is now a days to rent movies and how important time is I thought it was well spent on these.

Blood Diamond
Last King of Scotland

Both have Africa in it but potrayed in totally different ways. One is about conflict diamonds and the other about the brutal dictator Edi Amin narrated through the eyes of a young scottish doctor.

Not really a movie buff, watch very few, but "Somewhere in time" I loved and at Christmas-Chevy Chase in "Natinal lampoon's Christmas vacation" There are a few more I know, but can't remember right now.

I think the first one was better.

All three Raiders of the Lost Ark films

Crack House

The Burning Bed

Ray

Marked for Death

All of Bruce Lee's films.

The sad irony of all this is that movie co's have stopped putting movies on VHS, which I think is so stupid and senseless.

Especially since VCR's are still available in stores!!

I still love the Wizard of Oz and the Sound of Music.
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Westside Story
and I can't help watching A few Goodmen every single time it's on tv.

Goodness, there are so many. My all-time favorite is Gone with the Wind.

Others would be:

Witness
The Morning After
Charade

Shane
Thunder Road
The Lion in Winter

There are more, I'm sure, but they don't come to mind at the moment.

Yes, so do I, and some of the 007 films as well!

Thunderball

All four of Cristopher Reeves Superman films

Poetic Justice

All three of Ice Cube's Friday films.

Shane

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

The Unforgiven

Play Misty For Me

All of Clint Eastwood's spaghetti Western films

Jurassic Park 1, 2, & 3

Psycho

The Birds

Them!

Jaws 1, 2 & 3
