me, i call jake from my computer or couch to his. we're 15 ft. from each other.:angel:

When I'm sitting in the boat on the lake and something takes that 6 inch minnow below the surface, my adrenaline races, the bait and bobber rushing along above the 5 mile an hour speed limit, but it still can be seen, and it reminds me of the jaws music, (dun dun, dun dun dun dun, dun dun) OH NO, where did it go, where is it, and before I can get in all the slack, PLOP, it shows up *plop* 30 feet closer. I check it for teeth marks later and see that a northern or another teethed fish has injured my little beauty. And I wait for it to bite again, and *nothing*. Will I ever learn?
13 blue gills, oh well, good enough, 26 filets.
Fishing is God's casino with better scenery.

chuckle is the only healthy choice for these

when i'm working on something that seems impossible, almost getting the rage, only to find the solution to be so simple. i.e. brakes on my car. also what corny 80s song i will find myself singing outloud when working a constuction job. anyone who has worked construction knows you will hear people singing and saying the craziest stuff to themselves.:)

You call THAT singing???????????????? LOL!

best way i could think of to explain it.

it sure is not singing. from me or anyone else on the job. it is not just the noise bieng made (if that works for you:)) it is the subconscious choice made while trying to get through a tough day.

putting things in crazy places or forgetting to add an important ingredient to a recipe like yeast, etc.

I forgot the yeast in a 25 lb batch of bagels last year....
I wasn't chuckling that day!!! :angry::angry:

When I'm driving in the truck with a great classical composition on, and rather than put the energy to my acelerator peddle, I keep a drinking straw to use as a baton, and conduct my orchestra. I can get so into it, that when I notice someone watching, say, at a red light, I just kind of salute them, using my straw - and continue on.

I think I must look like a nut. And I hope to never have it be a cop sitting at that red light. LOL!

Was there a bubble machine in your truck??? You are reminding me of Lawrence Welk......and a one and a two.............he always had a baton in his hand, too.....:)

What comes to mind instantly is how much I sound like my Mom now while "conversing" with my children......she has passed & is probably laughing at me...because I REALLY do say the things she said AND my voice is identical to hers! It actually makes me laugh & cry sometimes (because I miss her)
weird how that works....
