I visited a clinical dietitian yesterday, I was informed I must remove and add certain foods from my diet.
I will post two of each until you solve the quiz.
Remove.
!, beetroot.
2, ovaltine.

Add,
1, Yogurt.
2 Tinned salmon with bones

Oh, good! I get to play House (the TV show).

osteoporosis?

Kidney Stones? Maybe from high levels of oxalate? Salmon and yogurt are high in calcium which would reduce oxalate levels.

Hmmm...well adding the calcium suggests osteo...but removing the beets and ovaltine suggest high iron.

Gout.

gallstones, kidney stones, acid stomach, flatulance. I'm going with flatulance. Since Ovaltine doesn't contain cafeine, I'm guessing it's not acid stomach--and since you're still drinking beer, it isn't acid stomach...are you going to tell us?

Iron inhibits Calcium absorption.

And one of these days, Bucky...my knee jerk reaction to your suggestions will be palpable.

Shame man, I hear Kidney Stones are no picnic :( Hope you feel better soon!
P.S Keep the prize, I'm all for sharing but no thanks :ROFLMAO:

Snip mate my three beauties were found 11yrs ago, which means they had been growing before that for a long time
I too have heard they are no picnic but I don't seem to suffer as I am supposed to.
They all think I have a high pain threshold, hence when Porthos fired out(the size of the diamond in Judge Judy's engagement ring, and it became like that scene from the H Bogart film when they struck the mother load) I saved it for my consultant Mr De Bolla so it could be analysed . Porthos is90% calcium oxcalate and 10% carbonara .
I will be meeting with the Laser man Dr Darth Vader after a few month of the diet and four 24 hour urine collections.
Dr Teoh the very attractive yet humor challenged specialist showed me the 4 plastic one gallon jars I have to fill , she did not understand my comment about how to fill them at that range.

 You have a funny way of putting it, that's the spirit! I feel the same way about giving birth, women make such a big deal about it sometimes. Yes sure it hurts like hell but gee wizz it's not that bad!
Hope you recover quickly :)

P.S Parsley and thyme are the best herbs to use for kidney stones. You can make a tea or eat them :)
Parsley tea desolves kidney stones making them easier to pass and gets rid of other unwanted toxins in the system.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: May I also suggest Lemon Juice or Cider Vinegar...3 Tablespoons a day will help dissolve any that may remain. Continuing the regimen will help with non-formation. Giving your laserman with nothing to set his sights on! It's worked for Shrek and my Dad and a couple of patients. You may mix the juice or vinegar in a glass of water with some little bit of sugar if it makes it easier.

Lemon juice is good, I always make a parsley tea with lemon juice and sip a cup morning and evening when I have kidney or bladder infection :) Work wonders, got the parsley tip from Margeret Roberts, she written about parsley in more than one of her books and it really works.
Good for all the "womens" complaints too! I avoid too much apple cider just use it when I have no lemon, I lose weight when I drink it and that's not a good idea for me lol :)
