Generally speaking, we don't go to the theatre to see movies either, except...if the film is of the type that has some sort of huge eye-appeal. That is, grand scenery or some sort of action that would be enhanced by seeing it on a big screen. Or...a movie like Hugo
, which was in 3D, and was fabulous. The effects seen on a non-3D screen would have been soooooo missed. It was one of the best movies I've seen in many, many years and not for the 3D feature, but because it had a lovely story and was very well done.
At the rate we're going we'll never get to the bottom of our Netflix queue.
