Wine Bottle Screw is stuck...

How in the world do I get this thing out? The handle came right off trying to pull the sucker out!!! I want someeeee!

I have tried picking at it with a knife but only succeeded in bending the tip of a good knife

Push it down into the bottle. Use the tip of a screwdriver or something similar. Do this in the sink. When the cork goes, it will hit with some force and there will be some wine squirting out.

Grap it with a pliers and turn the pliers

Before I push it into the bottle I hve to get the long piece of metal screwed into the cork lol.. looking for some plyers...

find an old cork, screw it onto the long piece of metal and pull!

I got it out, only to discover that the wine is red... blech. I thought it was white (the bottle is not see through)

I guess you'll just have to drink it all to erase the bad experience, take the bottle back and tell them of your nightmare, and hope they give you a freebie. (Yes, I'm sober - dang it)
