Wonders of the World

Take a break from whatever you're doing and have a look at some amazing places.

Beautiful pictures. My favorite place is Machu Picchu in Peru. I would love to go there. I can only imagine what it would be like to stand there among the ruins.

The pic of the Acropolis is so interesting. Looking at the modern crane and rigged equipment, and to think that the ancients did all of that without the technology we have today, amazing. I guess that can be said about all those places though, lol.

Wow - I've been to four of them The Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, Chichen Itza in Mexico and Hagia Sophia (NOT St. Sophia - it's a mosque) in Istanbul. They were all spectacular.

There are a lot more than seven pictures on that page, though.

Thanks for posting. I have been to a few. I love the Giza Pyramids. It's sad to see how the area by the Pyramids is trashed (garbage everywhere) but it's an amazing architectural feat, seeing it up close is a humbling experience.

I would love to go to Rio and see the Christ statue. Rio looks breathtakingly beautiful.
