You go to work all day and come home and you just don't have the energy to do all the stuff needed to cook up something nice. We eat a lot of hamburgers.

Sigh. Yes. I went back to work full time in Sept and my cooking repertoire has gone on hiatus.

If you are up for it, it's not a bad idea to cook up a storm on the weekend and freeze various things to eat during the week. Or go the crockpot route, which can involve slicing and dicing in the early morning hours and a low setting.

Having the time to shop and cook leisurely are luxuries to me now.
