During the winter, there is SNOW! Now for the folks that dont live in the snowbelt this thread isnt for you.
BUT! For the people IN the snowbelt, how does your car handle in it?

This was supposed to be a multiple choice. Alas, something went wrong.

My car isn't all that great in the snow. It likes to fish tail alot.
Thankfully I can get it back in control before anything reallly gets bad.
It's the other drivers who can't control it is who I worry about.

My convertible whimpers if it sees snow so I call a friend with one of those big ol' Escalades or Hummers, that I laugh at in the summer, to come pick me up in their 4 wheel drive.

Fortunately it doesn't snow down here but once every 20 years.

I live in Maine, so my car is quite used to the snow. The only problem I have, which is not often, is when the temps get around -10 or more. Batteries dont like it that cold, nor do I!

I'm from Michigan and by March we have had our share of snow. I drive a front wheel drive Honda Accord. So far it gets around great in the snow. I used to have a rear wheel drive car and that was terrible.

I have a Toyota 4Runner & it's GREAT in snow or any sort of inclement weather. Has 4-wheel-drive that I can switch to - both "high" & "low" depending on the weather. While I always drive carefully & usually stay home when the weather is bad, living in a rural area it's nice to know that if I really did absolutely HAVE to get somewhere safely, I can.

Have a Toyota pickup as well - same great bad weather service.

My truck is a 4X4 but still the only place I need to use it is in my own driveway (we have 5 acres and live in the middle of it. approx 1 football field length wide by 2 football lengths long). If I think we may have bad weather, I buy a bale or two of straw and place at the very tail end of the bed for extra traction. It all depends on the type of snow (wet or dry).

I've had my Rover in snow as deep as the top of the hood. No problem.
