No way. Alix, that's the part that get's the tear ducts running a bit.

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O'er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Great question, but oh, there are simply too many to chose from! I adore Christmas caroles, sometimes I even sing or hum them to myself through out the year.

We always had this tradition when I was growing up that on the stroke of midnight on Halloween night (so the moment that it turned into November 1st) we would play the first Christmas song of the year! I loved that so much, it gave Halloween (already my fav holiday) something even more than the day's festivities and treats to look forward to. These are probably my all time favourites, but it's so hard to pick and sometimes it seems to change a bit from year to year depending on what mood I am in.

White Christmas

Walking in a winter wonderland

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let it snow

Silver Bells

Jingle Bell Rock (I love that version that they did in the Muppet's Christmas)

I'll be home for Christmas (the line “if only in my dreams”, seems especially pertinent to me this year )

Little Drummer Boy

Baby it's cold outside

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Christmas time's a coming (the best bluegrass Christmas song!)

Up on the rooftop

Gene Autry singing Roudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is my all time favorite! I cried for weeks because my 8-track(yes, I said 8-track ) with that song got stuck in the player & when my dad was trying to get it out it broke. I also like the Manheim Steamroller Christmas stuff. But as far as the traditional songs go, I like Silent Night, Little Drummer Boy, & Joy to the World.
