I use DH meaning Dear Husband, a short cut if you will instead of typing out the whole thing.. I also use s-i-l son in law
m-i-l...mother in law that sort of thing...Hope this helps a little

ohhhh! thank you so much kadesma! In my world DH= designated hitter. ha. thanks so much for clarifying and filling me in on SIL and MIL. :-) i appriciate the help!

Lol, my bemusement exactly when I joined!! This will solve a little nagging mystery for new comers, maybe if it is not too much of work, the admin. could send a sort of "welcome letter" to new members including this kind of info, also some introduction to karma/reputation system etc.?
