To take the above post one step further this is very handy in your word program. I type a lot of wine names - things like Cote du Rhone - but that's not how I want it to look - so I can use my Auto Correct feature and every type I type Cote it will automatically change it to Côte for me.
Type the word Côte in your word program, using the "formula" (hold down the Alt key and type the sequence 0244) for the circumflex. Highlight the word Click on Tools Click on Auto Correct In the "Replace" box type Cote It will say "With" where your highlighted word now is So, every time you type Cote it will automatically change it to Côte You can use the auto correct feature MANY ways. When I did reports and there were certain things that I ALWAYS typed I would make a shortcut. For example, a sentence I used all the time was - If you have any questions please feel free to call me at my office at the above number. You can create an "auto correct" - use something that you will remember - I remembered the first 3 words and just used the first letter of each word - iyh - once you type iyh it would automatically change it to - If you have any questions please feel free to call me at my office at the above number. This works in Word only - not here in a post though ![]()

Is there a way to save recipes in one place? I have found quite a few recipes I would like to make here!

This site does not have a member's recipe box.
The easiest way is to copy and paste into a word processing document on your computer.

Yep, I do what Andy mentioned. I save them to a fold labeled - well - Recipes
Then within that folder I list by category:APPETIZER - Pineapple Cheeseball or ENTREE - PORK - Asian Pork Loin etc., etc.

"Does everyone know about the character map?" - thanks so much for this one. I used to have a list of those 'code number' (for lack of a better term) and I could use them on my old computer, but with this lap top it doesn't work, so will try your method.
350° - well, in a manner of speaking, it works... ;) 350° O.K. Also, since the old method didn't work, I've now lost my list - it had characters for German, French, etc. does anyone have that list? or where I can go to get it? thanks.

Yep, apparently your list works. I will print it out because it's a pain sometimes going to look at the character map. I used to have a piece of paper taped to my monitor of the ones I used the most - I'll have to do that again.
