Blueberry Smoothie

In a blender combine:

2 cups of fresh blueberries
1 cup cold apple juice
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup very cold milk
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Serve in a tall glass with/without ice and a straw.

You're welcome for the BRAIN FREEZE!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy!

I am so glad you posted this! My gram just gave me 3 quarts of frozen blueberries from last season. Can't wait for the brain freeze. I wonder if there are any alchoholic blueberry daquiri-type drinks we can think of? Hmm...

I don't know. But how 'bout replacing apple juice with white rum. Sort of like a White Russian, but a White NJ.
HA!

If you try it, or anything, you may have created your own creation! YOU COULD BE FAMOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
Let us know if you come up with anything.
Thanks, Jillb.

Instead of the vanilla ice cream, could you perhaps substitute silken tofu and a little bit of vanilla extract and maple syrup/honey, or something? :) If you're trying to do the whole diet/protein/health smoothie, that is :P

Give it a shot, Sweet.
I really couldn't tell you. I'm going to tell you to live dangerously and try it. Others here may follow your lead, if it comes out ok. Let us know.
Me.... no way, no how with the tofu stuff. Sorry.
But the vanilla & honey idea sound goody good.
