HELP with a sweet snack

I have a great recipie for garbanzo beans for a salty snack. But I was wondering if there would be a great recepie for a nut that could handle coffe honey and maybe some cinnamon. what kind of nut or bean would work well with this. I was thinking of oven roasting them in the mixture. Please help. I was thinking expresso dark heavy coffe to add some depth to the flavor. I don't think a peanut would work....brazillian nut??? I am hoping to make this as an apatizure for a Grey's Anatomy party coming up. Thank you for all your help!!!

I would think almonds, pecans or cashews would work well. Pecans hold up well against strong flavors, like coffee or cinnamon.
