How to prepare peaches???

I have a bunch of peaches from a friend. I have no idea how to prepare them for pie or cobbler, etc.

Do I have to peel them or just cut them up and they are ready to go?

what to do with peaches

Blanch them in some boiling water for a minute or two, then drain them and put them into cold water.....then peel and slice them, squeeze some lemon juice over them so they won't brown...then follow your recipe....oh yes, before putting them into the boiling water, cut a small cross in the stem end so it'll be easier to pull the skin off...Enjoy!!!

It's very very yummy....and still warm!
