So many of the recipes get passed me as I try to have my problems solved and plan on meals to prepare for the day. Guess I don't take the time to read each one and only my own fault. Constance, thanks for requesting this, Banana Jam. I always have bananas that I wind up trying to eat or throw in w/other fruit. This is one way to dispose of them before they become liquid. Sounds so good.

Well i did mean gelatin
I was looking at a box of instant or close to instand jams the other day and it required gelatin in the mix.
But I see what you are saying. The stuff that acts as gelatin is in the fruit itself and allows it to set.
