This is my first time making fruit salad. I am making it to last through out the week. I have put cantelope, honeydew, watermelon
and am about to put bananas in it. but i need to know if it is ok that i put the bananas in now or will they have gone too mushy by thurday or friday? ...............ps.............i am also going to pull from it for ingredients for my fruit smoothies that i make through out the week. any pointers...on or off the subject will be appreciated. :)

I definitely would not put bananas in a fruit salad unless it is going to be eaten right away. They will turn brown and probably get mushy. Peaches or berries would be a nice addition to your fruit salad.

I agree with either putting the bananas in as needed or not using them at all. I vote for some strawberries in your fruit salad too!

Hold off on the bananas. I would add some blueberries.. They work really well with melon flavors.
