We like these to garnish pork tenderloin or ham
3-large red apples
1/4-c. butter,melted
1/2c. dry fine bread crumbs
2-Tab. sugar
2.Tab. sesame seeds
Core the apples but do not peel. Cut 2 half inch slices from the center of the apple (reserve rest for something else) Brush slices on both sides with melted butter then coat with bread crumbs. Arrange in greased baking dish and sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds. Bake uncovered in preheated 400 oven for 20 min. or til golden.
makes 6 rings
enjoy

There is no way these would make it to the pork or the ham, I would eat them all from the tray!!! Preferably with a good vanilla icecream straight from the tub standing by the oven!!
