Karma is confined to cliques

Welcome to the forum, Donnie. FWIW, in THIS forum you can not post negative karma. You will find, however, that only certain people acquire lots of [positive] karma here.
I do not know the secret. Perhaps you will, in the future, provide posts of karma-worthy magnitude.
Happy posting,
Tom

Tom,
I don't think it is necessarily cliques, although there are some people who do mostly interact with a handful of people. There are some people I probably give more karma to than others, but I give it to a lot of people, including a lot of new people. Each person has their own criteria for why they give karma. Some hand it out sparingly, and some hand it out freely. I tend to be pretty free with it, as I like to give people a little "pat on the back" as often as possible. I know it makes me feel good to get karma, so I try to give it out as much as I can. I think the more you post, the more chances you have of getting karma. I also think that giving karma often results in getting karma (not necessarily right away, but eventually).
