I love cake pops because they are so cute!
However, I don't like the "traditional" way of making them; mashing baked cake and frosting, rolling into balls, etc.. The taste is way too sweet, and tastes like wet cake. It's also way too many steps. I prefer to make my cakes from scratch, so this cake pop process takes forever.
I bought the "Bake Pops" pan, and I love the concept! Cake on a stick! I love it!
However, I'm having an issue with the melted chocolate. It does not adhere to the cake pop as well as the "traditional" method. It seems to run off the ball, leaving a very thin layer of chocolate on the ball, and a sloppy mess on the stick and below.
I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone can offer.
Thanks!
Missy
