I have no idea. Can you figure it out from the context? If it's something like rosemary, it might mean branches.

I agree a sprig or small stem of parsley or whatever.
It could have been a typo as well.

If it's a French recipe, it probably stands for "brindilles," which essentially means stalks or sprigs.
