at christmas, i tried to make a norwegian version of a fishball dish called, obviously enough, fiskeboller. it came out terrible, although my dill cream sauce was good. but it couldn't save the horrible pasty taste of the fishballs.
hopefully norgeskog or one of our other norskies on the site can help you out. or maybe someone out there has a recipe for thai fish balls. they are spiced and deep fried (fiskeboller is boiled) and are delicious.
