ISO Terms for Pot Roast and Vegetables

when you cook a pot roast in the oven with potatoes and carrots along the side, what would be the correct term used to say how the potatoes and carrots are cooked? They are in the liquid for braising the meat. Braised potatoes doesnt seem right. Would boil be more like it? THX.
