I made Italian beef today in a crock pot and it has been cooking for 5 hours. I think i put in to many peppers and it is to spicey. i have removed them but since the heat comes from the seeds and oil this didn't help much is there anyway to cool it down a little bit?

The only way too cool it down without changing the flavor is to make another batch without the peppers and combine the two.

If you do not mind changing the flavor of the dish then dairy products will tame the heat. Actually adding anything else that does not have heat will dilute the heat a bit, but again you are going to be changing the flavors.

I agree with GB; I've heard of adding a starch (potatoes, rice, beans) to over spiced dishes, but haven't found it that effective, plus it wouldn't be great in a sandwich. Just go out and buy another chuck or whatever you used, and double the meat and add water (NOT stock unless it is unseasoned, salt-free). Luckily it freezes pretty good.
