Problem with melted chocolate
HI I WAS DOING SOME COOKING MELTING CHOCOLATE IN A SORUCEPAN AND IT WENT WRONG I HAVE BLACK MARKS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET THAT OUT?

Not sure what type of pan your are talking about...is that a brand of cookware, or a typo?
When I have unusually bad scorch marks on a pot, I usually soak it for a while with vinegar and water. Then, let the vinegar and water come to a boil. It usually helps. In the future, try melting in a microwave oven, or in a double boiler. Even if you don't have the double boiler ( I don't either), you can improvise one with a bowl set over a pot of simmering water.

If the saucepan is stainless and not non stick, soak in a bleach and water solution. I also use diswasher liquid soap sometimes.

I always melt my chocolate in the microwave......you also might try soaking overnight in water and baking soda
