Putting Pizza on the Stone

Yes it might sound like a dumb question, but how do you put the pizza on the stone without one of those wood paddles? I've tried sliding it off of another dish with parchment, but it does look somewhat defected in shape. Mind you, the taste is mighty fine.
 
You can make a makeshift "peel" by using a non-rimmed cookie sheet or the upside down of a rimmed cookie sheet. Sprinkle with cornmeal, place your pizza on top of the cornmeal, then slide it off the cookie sheet onto the stone. Should work.
 
Or, you could use your cutting board, with flour or cornmeal on it to prevent sticking. Unless, of course, you use a butcher block on legs.
