I recently bought a Presto pressure cooker.
One term (or technique) in the recipes has me confused: "normal cooking"
Here's the context. Several recipes say (for example):
Is this the the right technique?
or does "cook normally" mean something else?
I suspect these recipes were written by someone in Bangladesh. (or is that non-PC? pun intended)
TIA,
Squanto
One term (or technique) in the recipes has me confused: "normal cooking"
Here's the context. Several recipes say (for example):
- step 2: cover, set control at 15 and cook for 45 minutes after control jiggles
- step 3: cook normally for 5 minutes, then place under faucet
- step 4: add remaining ingredients
- step 5: cover, set control a 15 and cook for 5-8 minutes after control jiggles. Reduce pressure instantly.
Is this the the right technique?
or does "cook normally" mean something else?
