Tin Chicken, weird way

I didnt know where to put this so well here I am.....

The inlaws went camping here not too long ago and roasted their chicken the beer can way but on the ground....they took metal poles, stuck them in the ground...took wire mesh wrapped it around individual pole then inside the mesh wrap they filled it with newspaper and charcoals......once the charcoals were good and warm theplaced the chicken in the center of these four poles.....Ill have to get the pic to post for you all....I just thought it was an odd way to do it

and it's a quite lovely thing.

Because you are averse to the taste of liquor, I will drink the beer and then you can fill up the can with rose water, wine, or whatever other aromatic liquid you would prefer.
