I love dutch oven potatoes just like most everyone but do get a little tired of the same thing over and over.
Here is a great way to mix things up with a little whipping cream. I found this in the BSA Scouting magazine in the Jan/Feb issue of 2011. I had a group of Scouts begging for more.
Ingredients include the traditional bacon, potatoes (hash browns to speed up the cooking process) and butter. The extra additions are green onions and heavy whipping cream:
