3 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
½ cup apple juice
aluminum foil

Procedure

Line Dutch oven with foil. Core, peal and slice apples. Melt
butter in a pan.
Pour melted butter into Dutchoven and add brown sugar. Stir and mix
well, covering bottom of oven with mixture. Place apple slices on bottom of oven.

In a mixing bowl, mix baking mix, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, egg, milk and apple juice. Stir and mix well. Pour mixture over apples in oven and spread evenly.

Take cake out of oven and invert on a plate. Serve hot with ice cream or whipped cream.

Note: You make want to place caramel squares in each hole of the apples. You would have a caramel apple taste.
